Here Comes Santa Clause II

I just wanted to let you know that Darby Elizabeth Photography is kicking off our second annual "Here Comes Santa Claus" event. Over the course of the next two months Darby Elizabeth Photography will be offering photo-shoots for a great discount! So now is the perfect time to get a new family photo!

The packages will be $250 for one family and will look and be just as fun as all of our other shoots, include the digital negatives, a 1 hour shoot and have a 60 day online viewing page where you can order photos, cards, ect right from our pro lab!

Our photo-shoots are really fun and hip, and probably nothing like you've ever done before! For examples check out our Blog...we'll be posting new examples of our photo-shoots so you can see what we are talking about.

Not only will your photos be unique and fun...they will also be ready so you can order Christmas cards with time to spare!

The following times, dates and locations will be opened up for Christmas family sessions. We've selected two different but amazing locations to hold the shoots, Thursday's will be shot at an amazing location featuring trees, greenery and softness, while Friday's will be shot in a hip, colorful and urban-like location:

Thursdays: September 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th 5:30-6:30pm. The location on these Thursday's will be soft and green.

Fridays: September 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th 5:30-6:30pm. The location on these Friday's will be fun, colorful, hip and urban, but still family appropriate.

Thursdays: October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th 4:30-5:30pm. The location on these Thursday's will be soft and green.

Fridays: October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 31st 4:30-5:30pm. The location on these Friday's will be fun, colorful, hip and urban, but still family appropriate.

Last year the sessions filled up quickly so be sure to email back right away!

Adventures with my Mr. Darcy

After having the YW in my ward over a few weekends ago to watch Pride & Prejudice, Lee and I decided we need more date nights. Nothing too fancy, but just the two of us... so we can remember what it feels like to have butterflies in our stomach as we spend time with the person who is our other half.

After dropping off the girlies, we ran down the street to window shop and just hold hands. Of course it started blowing and raining the biggest drops ever... which made it even more fun. I found these cutest napkins to add to my closet that will hopefully some day soon be full to the brim with dishes, linens and everything needed to set a beautiful table.

Then we went and browsed the magazine collection at Barnes and Noble where I learned how to make a tasty banana creme pie cookie and Lee familiarized himself with the Incan Civilizations of centuries ago. It's good to remember what life was like before kids and how much I love every part of my life.

Work Stuff

Here's an image from a wedding I just finished the album for. Our albums are like coffee table books and are beautiful. This was one spot I loved at the Venue. Can you believe this is Arizona? I want my family pictures taken here!

blushing pink

The beginnings of my new room.

Lee told me its a good thing he knows how to build a thing or two with some mucho power tools, or someone would think he was a floozy for painting his bedroom pink. I told him its not pink its blushing pink and I love it.

A morning Joke

OK, I will admit that we went to see the Batman movie opening night, and that we had to sit in the 2nd row... my husband is slightly obsessed :) But the other morning as delia was eating some toast with jelly I couldn't resist thinkingWHY SO SERIOUS?!

I know she looks hideous but it was too funny :)

Little Booties

So I've gotten over the fact that my body typs is just the way it is... I've learned, since I've had my own little girlies. Seriously, what difference is there in the lifestyles of these 3 little girls? Probably not that much (except Eden doesn't like green pizza) and look at their back sides. I think my girls are destined to love handles and chubby little thighs. Oh well, at least they look cute with their big bellies now :)

To the mountains we go!

What to do in Long Valley?
Hang out with your best cousin friends :)
Roast strawberry marshmallows to go with breakfast
And have a yummy bowl of Cocoa Puffs

Did I mention it rained the whole time? It was beautiful!
