What's better than spending you Saturday evening working on your lesson for church the next morning? Well lots of things are more fun, but who can complain when you are reading wise counsel from Boyd K Packer like this:
"We should not expect revelation to replace the spiritual or temporal intelligence which we have already recieved- only to extend it. We must go about our life in an ordinary, workday way, following the routines and rules and regulations that govern life.
Rules and regulations and commandments are valuable protection. Should we stand in need of revealed instruction to alter our course, it will be waiting along the way as we arrive at the point of need"
Our daily routines say alot about ourselves!

Amen. Thanks for the quote, it is such a good one.
This is such a good post & very happy & sunday-ish. Love the quote. Amanda rocks.
Why is your blog going all churchity on me? Way to make us feel lame that we want to post a kitten cage fighting video. Gosh.
Hope your lesson went well. Ugh, so it was the first Sunday, did you have all the girls AND the leaders? It's the latter that stresses me out the most. Anyhow, very impressive that Eden has been trained so well. I'm hoping that it's not something I'll have to get pointers on you from, but a good refrence to have. By the way, did you start out with gallon size bags and graduate down in size? It's still an amazing feat, and SO much better than smelling puke in the car for an extended period of time. I was totally grossed out each time I'd get a little whiff, and finally realized it was in my hair. Gross.
Oh, ps. much better to be puked on by my little baby than the last person who puked on me... Jon King in high school. Anyone remember him? Yes, apparently him drinking at the river and Cam Jones' erratic driving was not a good mix.
emily is hilarious.
Thanks for the quote...I'm giving that lesson next week! We seem to be a week behind you. Perhaps because of Stake Conf. long live YW.
hey this is holly dixon from down the street and i decided to finally comment on your adorable blog... oh and my bro ryan says..."That quote changed my life"... anyways, sorry for the extremely random comment...
AMANDA! Your family is so cute! I am so glad I found your blog! Hopefully we can keep in touch now!
Amanda. I miss you and your funnies. I know when you get home, you'll want to sleep because of the deprivation from camp, you'll need to work on the Hawaii wedding pictures, and you'll be dying to hang with the husband and kids. But c'mon, think of all of us out here in blog world. We've been deprived too! Come home soon...come home soon...come home soon...I've never realized I'm so needy!
i agree with sara. maybe you should finally come home from fun places & blog. k? k.
I too want you to come home. And I am really excited for you to see the treats that Lee got you from our house. I think you will take one look and think, "I've made a huge mistake." P.S. Do you watch Arrested Development?
